Our story

After a family trauma in 2012, Scott and Lauren decided to give living on the other side of the world shot, but never did they expect finding a job would be so difficult. Even as a qualified electrician with years of experience, no one wanted to hire two kids’ from the UK. After someone took a chance on him, Scott started working as a full time service technician and Lauren doing water tests in the local pool shop. Both finding love for an industry they never even knew existed.

Over the years they both grew within the industry, Scott becoming General Manager of a pool company and Lauren working in pool equipment manufacturing, never losing love for this fast paced and interesting industry.

After having their first son in 2020, two days before Melbourne was thrown into a 4 month lockdown everything changed. Like many managers during COVID, Scott’s love for the industry changed as a result of constant shifting regulations, staffing requirements and recruitment struggles. His passion for what he used to love was lost in a vast sea of paperwork and “workers permits”.

With the opening of Moore Pool Care, Scott and Lauren have been given the privilege to provide the customer service and quality operation they are proud to supply to their customers.
